The popular graffiti that turned an ordinary railway bridge into a globally recognized attraction emerged in 1994 or 1995 (the authors themselves are not sure) by a group of enthusiasts of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and, of course, our Jimi. And so, as it usually happens when legends are born, the mentioned crew decided to write "Hendrix" on the green bridge to show all passersby what they love and appreciate. Graffiti is everywhere, we all know that – underpasses, on old (and new) buildings... and rarely do people remember... and almost none enter the legend like this one did.
And precisely for that reason, Jimi and the Bridge received this race as a tribute to everything they left us in both musical and urban sense.
