20th Winter League - Igor Malešević

Dear runners, the jubilee 20th Winter League - Igor Malešević is starting! In this new edition of the Winter League, many exciting things await you: new destinations, more rounds, finisher medals, masquerade round, night round, beer round, charity round... and a new ecological dimension to the league – we want to become an event with 0% waste. New features compared to previous seasons: 🔹 The league this season consists of 9 races. 🔹 The best results from 6 races will be used to calculate the standings. 🔹 In addition to the best results from 6 races, participation in each additional race will be worth 10 points instead of the previous 2 points (this rewards regular attendance at races to a greater extent than before). 🔹 If more than 3 runners from a team participate in a race, the team will receive 10 points for each additional runner (this rewards teams for which more runners participate in a race). A little clarification for the last note: if four runners from a team participate in a race, and the sum of points of the three fastest runners is 210, that team will earn 220 points in that race because of the fourth runner, regardless of the result of that fourth runner. After that, the team with the most points is awarded 30 points, the next team 28 points, etc., as it was last year. Consistency in the rounds will have more weight this season than before, both in individual and team categories. At the end of the league, for individual absolute categories, a trophy and two medals are provided for the three fastest, and for each age category, medals are awarded for the three fastest who participated in a minimum of 6 league rounds.
