Gran Fondo Roonda Stubaki

The name "Roonda" represents a combination of several concepts. In athletics, motorcycling, etc., it refers to one lap around a circular track; a circuit, and colloquially, it means a round or a circuit (in walking, ordering drinks, etc. - "buying a round" means buying drinks for the group). The connection with cycling is in the Dutch name of one of the five cycling classics - Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders). The cycling race "Granfondo Roonda Stubaki" takes place in the Krapina-Zagorje County on a gently hilly route. There is one race covering 100 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1,100 meters.
