The Warsaw Marathon is the annual celebration for runners. As one of the few marathons in the world, it has been held continuously since 1979! Each of the past editions have its own unique history. In the early 1980s the race was held
under the watchful eye of the army and special police forces, in the 1990s the first edition of the marathon appeared with the word ‘Warsaw’ in its name, and in 2020 the event was held in an unprecedented formula with the highest sanitary rigour. Every moment of the Marathon is unique, and for each runner the start is a great celebration and the culmination of a long journey. Take part in the Warsaw 10k and become part of a new running history! The 10k race is now held each September as a companion run to the Warsaw Marathon.
The 10 km run is an excellent opportunity to get a feeling of the unique atmosphere of this sporting event and become a part of the Big Race without having to cover 42.195 km. No running enthusiast should miss such a chance!
