Meridiana Slavonica

The 20 km race starts from Lovčić, a settlement nestled among the gentle hills of Dilj Gora, from where it follows a forest road to Vijenac in Brodski Stupnik. Along the beautiful scenery of endless greenery and vineyards, the route leads towards Oriovačko Brdo, and then continues along the Hiking Trail Ćosin Mlin – Kasonjski Vrh to the Hiking Trail Orljava – Stara Kapela – Izvor Slatina. Finally, through a forest road, descending via Križni Put, it reaches the center of the settlement Stara Kapela, which also marks the finish line. This trail perfectly connects two eco-ethno villages – Lovčić and Stara Kapela, villages with only a few inhabitants, where there is no phone signal, and which exude peace, greenery, and fresh air. The route provides an opportunity to discover the charms of the Meridiana Slavonica nature (the area of the municipalities Brodski Stupnik, Oriovac, and Nova Kapela). Running along this route, you will fall in love with the diversity of Meridiana Slavonica, with its horizon at your fingertips – from the Sava River, across fishponds, to the slopes of Dilj Gora, featuring beautiful views of vineyards and forests.

The 5 km race starts and finishes in Stara Kapela. The greenery of this settlement provides a perfect backdrop to explore its most beautiful aspects, ideal for everyone – from children to adults, from amateurs to professionals. The route passes by viewpoints and resting spots, concluding by descending Križni Put to the center of the settlement.
