The race starts at the St. Barbara Promenade (by Beach Bar Trska). Runners follow the promenade along the Mura River towards the St. Barbara Bell Tower, where they turn right into Matija Gubec Street. The route continues to the ferry, then turns left in the direction of Hlapičina along the Mura to the Zev backwater and loops back. At the St. Barbara Bell Tower, they branch off again and turn right into Matija Gubec Street, then descend towards the ferry, turn left, and run towards Sveti Martin na Muri to the Skelarska House. At the Skelarska House, they turn back and run straight along the Mura towards the finish at the St. Barbara Promenade.
