Welcome to a new club racing adventure with the Athletics Club Sljeme - RocknRolla!
This half marathon race is named after our member Roko, whose weekend house serves as the race's finish line. Roko accurately measured the exact half marathon distance from our club's benches to his weekend house, and he's been saying that we need to run it ever since. Now is the time! 🤘
Registrations are open until Friday, and the entry fee of €15 covers the barbecue, mulled wine, cold beer, and the party waiting for you at the finish line.
Please put the payment in an envelope with your name, surname, and 'RocknRolla' written on it, then leave it at the club. If your +1/companion/driver will be joining you at the finish line, they can also indulge for a symbolic price of 10 € (add these euros to the envelope with the registration fee).
Bib numbers will be distributed one hour before the race.
The return journey is not organized, so make sure you have a plan to get back or run a marathon instead. 😇

RocknRolla Half Marathon
The RocknRolla race starts at the benches, and the first segment takes you along the embankment on the north side towards the Jankomir Bridge. After that, the route leads you under the bridge and over to the other side of the embankment. You continue running to Dr. Franjo Tuđman Street, where caution is required when crossing to the other side of the road, as there are no pedestrian crossings.
Afterward, you run towards Sveta Nedelja, following the road's lane, all the way to the old road in Orešje. The trail continues along the Sveta Nedelja Bike Route, then you return to Dr. Franjo Tuđman Street. You continue under the highway to the roundabout, where you turn towards the center of Sveta Nedelja. The route further extends along Svetonedeljska Street, and after the church, you go straight into Marijan Stilinović Street. After 200 meters, you turn left into Vladimir Nazor Street and run uphill towards the finish line of the race.
The terrain consists of embankment and asphalt (approximately 7 km).
The total elevation gain is 180 meters, with 140 meters of elevation in the last two kilometers. 🙂
