Zaragoza Marathon

A marathon to discover and enjoy Zaragoza over 42 kilometers! The start and finish remain unchanged at Plaza del Pilar, along with an improved course shaped by the feedback of our runners. The route includes two passes through Paseo de la Independencia, Plaza de España, Plaza de Aragón, Coso, Audiencia, the Roman walls, and the Central Market, as well as a scenic stretch along the Ebro River, crossing some of its most iconic bridges and passing through the Expo 2008 area. The 32nd kilometer marks the most challenging point of the race. After a few kilometers of running in both directions along the Imperial Canal, the course leads into a steady descent straight to the legendary finish line at Plaza del Pilar – the place of our dreams.

The best 10K in Zaragoza deserves a course that matches its prestige. We are keeping last year's starting point next to El Pilar, on Paseo de Echegaray y Caballero. From there, the race passes through the beautiful and iconic Calle Alfonso I to El Coso, as well as Plaza España, Don Jaime I, and the legendary crossing over Puente de Piedra, under the watchful gaze of its guardian lions. To complete the fastest and most spectacular certified 10K in Zaragoza, the route extends slightly along Avenida de San José—a perfectly flat stretch designed for speed—while maintaining all the charm of a course that captivates every runner. As always, the finish line awaits at Plaza del Pilar, where we will complete the final meters and receive well-earned recognition for our effort in the form of the 10K finisher's medal from the MANN-FILTER Zaragoza Marathon.
