The perfect start to your running weekend in the Zadar archipelago! Start your running weekend with the Sunset Vertical Race to the famous Fortress of St. Michael ! The main event starts in the town of Preko (island of Ugljan), where we have prepared an exciting introduction to your unforgettable running adventure. This race invites you to challenge yourself on a short but intense climb from the charming town to the Fortress of St. Michael. The start is right next to the Bib Pick-up Area (BIB) in the center of Preko. This short and intense race will reward you with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the Zadar archipelago. The event takes place on Friday evening , just before sunset, which provides the perfect moment to enjoy the golden colors at one of the most famous viewpoints on the island – St. Michael's Fortress. The route is suitable for all runners, whether you want to take your time and enjoy yourself or go all-out for the best time. The route is easy, with no technical or dangerous sections, making it safe and suitable for everyone. Let this unforgettable race lay the foundation for your running adventure through the Zadar archipelago!

The start and finish are located in the authentic fishing village of Sali, situated on the outskirts of the Telascica Nature Park. You’ll encounter 35 km of beautiful Adriatic coastal trails, where you’ll discover the Telascica Nature Park and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding islands, which are part of the Kornati National Park. The route also takes you to some of the most iconic points of Dugi Otok, including a loop around Lake Mir, located within the Telascica Nature Park. The trail is suitable for intermediate and more experienced runners. It does not include technically challenging or dangerous sections, making it suitable even for runners who prefer non-exposed paths. You will have organized transport to the start by catamaran from the island of Ugljan (from the town of Preko), so the arrival at the start will be something special! Of course, you are also warmly invited to join the 2nd stage on Sunday, which will take you through the islands of Ugljan and Pasman.

Of course, you are also warmly invited to join the 2nd stage on Sunday, which will take you through the island of Ugljan.

The start of the Sunday’s royal stage is in the town of Preko on the island of Ugljan. On Sunday, you’ll also embark on a perfect running exploration of the Mediterranean and the beautiful trails found in the Zadar Archipelago. There will certainly be no shortage of stunning sea views and beautiful coastline. The 45 km route will uniquely take you to two islands, allowing you to explore both the island of Ugljan and the island of Pasman. And don’t worry, the islands are connected by a bridge, so you won’t need to swim between them 😉. The trail is suitable for intermediate and more experienced runners. It does not include technically challenging or dangerous sections, making it suitable even for runners who prefer non-exposed paths. The 45 km route will take you through the islands of Ugljan and Pasman, with the start and finish in the town of Preko. During registration, you can choose either this stage only or both stages – combining it with the 35 km route on Dugi Otok.
