The project aims to draw attention to environmental issues in our society, with a focus on changing behavior related to recycling, the need for recycling, and the possibilities of environmental protection through recycling. By organizing the first race of this kind, the association "DEČKI U PLAVOM" ensured that Sarajevo becomes one of the European cities promoting environmental awareness in this way. We believe that this race, in addition to encouraging changes in behavior towards ecology and the necessity of recycling, will contribute to the more intensive and broader promotion of Sarajevo. It will also promote healthy lifestyle habits and sports. The collected PET packaging will be taken over and recycled. In this way, we aim to influence a change in citizens' behavior regarding recycling and encourage greater activity in this area.
