IRONMAN 70.3 Venice-Jesolo

The 1900-meter open water swim course is situated at the beach in front of the iconic lighthouse which marks the border between the Municipalities of Jesolo and Cavallino. The course consists of a single counterclockwise loop North of the Adriatic Sea, a swim perfect for first timers and experienced swimmers looking for fast times. The fast flat single loop 90 km bike course is defined by its long straight roads which are perfect for athletes chasing PB times. The Venetian lagoon and its landscape surround the athletes before reaching Cavallino. Coming back to Jesolo, athletes will reach Cortellazzo and its unforgettable bridge of boats and up to the municipality of Eraclea which is characterized by the gorgeous picture-perfect canals. Athletes will then be redirected back to Jesolo following the same direction they took. The 21.1km run course consists of three 7 km loops, part on ashady avenue then athletes will turn right towards the promenade on the lighthouse beach before reaching the turnaround. At the end of the third lap, athletes will be directed onto a footpath that will bring them to finish line situated on the beach.
