Kastav Cross is a challenging race that offers an incredible running experience through beautiful landscapes. The surface consists of well-trodden gravel roads.
The gravel road is undulating, with frequent changes of uphill and downhill sections. However, the total elevation for the 13.5 km course is approximately 200 meters. Both sections run on the same wide gravel road connecting Kastav and Breza. The return leg is also on the same gravel road towards the finish in Kastav. The turnaround for the long route is at around 6.7 km, and for the short route at 4 km.
The terrain is technically undemanding and suitable for runners of all experience levels.
