When we started working on MedvedRUN and agreed that the theme for the races would be Medvedgrad Brewery’s beers, we knew that one day we would have to repeat one of them, as MedvedRUN relentlessly moves forward, and there are only so many beers... And what better opportunity to mark that moment than now, on the 10th anniversary of this legendary beer-flavored race. Yes, you read that right – from that small rainy race with a few hundred people, it's already been ten years. We even went ahead during the pandemic when Corona took over our lives, and when the slogan #stayhome followed us everywhere. Back then, we held the virtual MedvedRUN, but we still held it... and now, we’re celebrating a decade and decided to do some things a bit differently. Just a little, so we don’t spoil the flavor of the race you’ve signed up for. First of all, the t-shirt this year is not black, but beige (or “beige,” as the stylists would say), and the design isn’t directly the beer label, but a variation on the theme of Professor Baltazar and our beloved Steampunk style. The medal also doesn’t follow the label but has some crazy tubes on it, and it’s bigger than the previous ones. Now, you’re probably asking (we know you’re not, but we’ll tell you anyway) – will such variations become the norm every year? We have no idea... and there’s only one way to find out – don’t miss any future MedvedRUN events 🙂 So, the 10th MedvedRUN is ahead of you, Baltazar beer is already cooling down, the music is tuning up, and all that’s left for you is to come to Tkalčić and have an absolute blast again this year!

Course route: Pivnica Mali Medo – Tkalča northbound – Felbinger's stairs – Radićeva – Jurjevska – Turn onto Dubravkin put (refreshment station) – Tuškanac – Grič Tunnel – Radićeva northbound – Male stairs – Finish line (or second lap).
