Pula Marathon

The half marathon starts in front of the Arena at 08.00 pm. It consists of 3 laps. The first one is a short lap of approx. 1 km, and the other two are of the same length with the 3rd ending in the Arena at the finish line. In the first, short lap, after starting off at the Arena, runners run along Flavijevska Street where they make a 180° turn to Starih statuta Street. They continue along Riva, turn left onto Svetog Ivana Street, then left to Amfiteatarska, they run up to the Arena, where they finish the first lap and enter the second one. The rest of the route is: Istarska – Flavijevska – left lane of 43. Istarske divizije – along the west sidewalk of Prekomorskih brigada – Tršćanska – Starih statuta – Riva – east lane Svetog Petra Street – Partizanski put –180° turn 5m before the turn towards Pizzeria Tivoli – Partizanski put – west lane Svetog Petra Street – Riva – Flacijusova Street – entrance to the Forum – exit through Prolaz Svetog Nikole – Flacijusova Street – Dante’s Square – Anticova Street – west lane Laginjina – west lane Giardini – Carrarina – west lane Svetog Ivana Street – 180° turn in front of the Pula City Library – east lane Svetog Ivana Street – Amfiteatarska (second lap). The third lap is the same as the second, only it ends at the finish line in the Arena.

The start of the 5 km race is at 20.05 on the plateau in front of the Arena (Nymphaeum Square). Runners also run to Punta, but immediately return to Carolina down Old Statute Street. Turn right along Riva along 119th Brigade Street towards Mandrač. The turning point of the 5 km race is flush with the train station. They return to Carolina and head towards the Forum, next to the Post Office on the Giardine. After the Giardino, they turn past Fina to the City Library and return to the Arena on Amphitheater Street.

Pula X Race (10K) starts in front of the Arena at 08.00 pm. Runners run along Flavijevska Street and turn right along 43. istarske divizije until they reach the big roundabout in Šijana, where they take the sidewalk and continue along Prekomorskih brigada Street. The rest of the route is as follows: Tršćanska – Starih statuta – Riva – east lane of Svetog Petra Street – Partizanski put – 180° turn 5m before the turn toward Pizzeria Tivoli – Partizanski put – west lane Svetog Petra Street – Riva – Flacijusova – entrance to the Forum – exit through Prolaz Svetog Nikole – Flacijusova – Dante’s Square – Anticova – west lane Laginjina – west lane Giardini – Carrarina – west lane Svetog Ivana Street – 180° turn in front of the Pula City Library – east lane Svetog Ivana Street – Amfiteatarska – Istarska – entering the Arena – FINISH LINE
