The Trans Balkan Race is a 1,350 km off-road, unsupported bikepacking race traversing Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. This demanding adventure takes cyclists through karst landscapes, dense forests, and historic regions of the former Yugoslavia. Starting in Sežana, Slovenia, it offers a unique experience of self-sufficiency, endurance, and exploration of the Balkans' untouched nature. Participants face extreme temperature variations, limited water sources, and remote resupply points, making it one of the toughest races worldwide.
