Wine & Walk by the sea

Time to lace up your shoes and make a move – it's time for the sixth Wine & Walk by the sea! The beginning of autumn in Istria is unimaginable without this unique stroll by the sea with a glass of wine. So, we invite you to once again celebrate the acclaimed Novigrad wines and Istrian gastronomy with us as you walk through the green landscape by the sea, overlooking the charming center of Novigrad. This wine walk starts in the morning hours from the Novigrad waterfront at Porporela, where participants check-in, receive their tasting glass and vouchers, a map of the route, and all necessary instructions. The Wine & Walk route is 10 km long, and at the wine & food stations along the way, you'll taste the finest wines from Novigrad winemakers paired perfectly with local seafood and meat specialties. The adventure begins with a stroll along the promenade and the old harbor of Mandrač, right in the heart of the historic city center, where you'll find the first refreshment station, close to the wine cellar with a long tradition. The walk continues along the path passing by the sea to the next tasting stations, then enters the hinterland of Novigrad through vineyards, olive groves, and other attractive natural locations.
