Effective date: 28 July 2026
Pixel Flow, obrt za usluge, vl. Katarina Žagar, (hereinafter: “PF”), collects and processes personal data legally, honestly and transparently in accordance with applicable regulations and by taking appropriate technical and organizational measures aimed at protecting personal data from unauthorized access and misuse.
Data collected for specific, explicit and legal purposes will be collected only to the extent necessary and processed in a manner consistent with these purposes.
PF will try to collect accurate data, which will be corrected, deleted or updated if necessary or at the request of the respondent.
The collected data will be kept for as long as necessary considering the purpose for which they were collected, i.e. for the period in accordance with the applicable regulations.
PF will collect and process personal data only in cases where this is permitted by regulations:
PF is aware that the protection of personal data is important to our users.
Therefore, we would like to show you what personal data we collect, how we manage it and how we take care of its protection.
Personal data is information that identifies you directly or indirectly, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, IP address or postal address.
PF does not collect your personal data unless you expressly submit such data (by creating a user account, filling out the contact form or registering for events published on the Race Mango platform).
It is possible that we have to submit your personal data to the competent public authority if this is required by law or other binding regulation.
If you give express consent to the use of your personal data for advertising and marketing purposes, your data will be stored and used for these purposes, e.g. for sending newsletters, samples of competition announcements, sending offers, invitations to participate in competitions via e-mail, mail or other communication channel that you have accepted.
We can use your data when creating and maintaining a user profile, with which we would like to ensure that you receive individual advertisements and promotions. If necessary, we will use your data to analyze and improve the efficiency of our online services, advertising, marketing, market research and sales efforts.
You can withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data, in whole or in part, at any time. Upon receipt of a request to remove consent, your data will be deleted within an appropriate period.
Upon request, we will inform you within a reasonable period whether and what personal data we have collected during your visits to our website.
Please direct all inquiries to one of the addresses: e-mail address or the address of the Race Mango platform's business headquarters, which are available on the website.
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent your data from being lost, altered, stolen or accessed by an unauthorized third party.
Event pages can show a "Where to stay" map of accommodation near the event, provided by our partner Stay22. It is embedded from stay22.com and loads only if you accept marketing cookies — until then you see a notice in its place, and nothing is sent to the partner. If you book, the accommodation provider pays us a commission; you pay the provider, never us.
Once loaded, the embed runs Stay22's own analytics and advertising tools, which set cookies from Stay22, Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta, Hotjar, Reddit, HubSpot and Mixpanel. These are the partner's, not ours, and we receive no personal data from them. You can withdraw consent at any time in the cookie settings, which stops the map loading.
We reserve the right to change or update parts of the data at any time and without prior notice. Visit the site from time to time to be aware of changes or update notices. We will indicate the date on which the new notification will begin to apply.
In addition to the website, PF provides the Race Mango mobile app for participants. The app is covered by this Privacy Policy, and PF is the data controller for everything it collects. This section describes what the app collects, why, and how long we keep it.
The app collects precise (GPS) location for two features:
With your permission, location is also collected in the background — that is, while the app is closed or not in use. This exists so tracking keeps working with your phone in a pocket and the screen off; without it a race track or a recorded activity would break up as soon as you stopped looking at the screen. Android asks for this separately as “Allow all the time”, and the app shows you an explanation before it asks.
Location is only collected while a race you are taking part in is being tracked, or while you have started an activity recording in the app. The app does not collect your location at any other time, does not start tracking on its own, and does not resume tracking when your phone restarts. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working without it.
We do not use location data for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than the two features above.
If you upload or record an activity for Map Heist, we receive the route, timestamps, distance, duration and — where your device records it — elevation. An administrator reviews each submission before it counts, in order to keep the game fair.
Please be aware that Map Heist is a multiplayer game, and part of this is visible to the other players who can open the same board — the players on your national map, and on the shared Europe board every signed-in player: the map tiles you claim, your player name and colour, your position in the standings, and the name, distance, time and GPS route of your approved activities. Showing the route is deliberate: it is how players are able to check each other's claims and report cheating, which is what keeps the game fair. An activity that is still awaiting review, or that was denied, is visible only to you and to administrators. You choose your player name and colour, and you can leave a league you have not yet played in.
Your name, e-mail address, year of birth, gender, country, and any optional profile details you add (club, shirt size, meal preference, sports you follow, profile photo). If you register for an event, the data required by that event's organizer is shared with that organizer so they can run the race.
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google provides us with your name, e-mail address and profile picture so we can create or match your account. We never receive your Google password.
To send you notifications about your races and Map Heist (an approved activity, an attack on your territory, a jersey change), the app registers a push token with Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. The token identifies your device installation, not you personally. You can turn notifications off in the app or in your device settings.
If you enable fingerprint or face unlock, it is verified entirely by your device. PF never receives, sees or stores your biometric data.
Device model, operating system and app version, and whether battery optimisation is switched off — used to keep GPS tracking reliable on your particular device and to diagnose faults.
PF does not sell personal data.
You can delete your account at any time:
We send a confirmation link to your registered e-mail address, valid for 60 minutes. Nothing is deleted until you open that link and confirm, so an account can never be deleted by someone who does not control your mailbox. Deletion removes your account and signs out every device.
Although we take available technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental or intentional misuse, destruction, loss, unauthorized change or access, we cannot guarantee that some of the personal data we collect will never be accidentally disclosed, contrary to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
