Krabat trail

The longest and most demanding trail of the festival runs through the heart of Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje Nature Park. Starting in Sošice, the route passes Jazovka, the village of Cernik, Žumberačka Kupčina, and climbs to the summit of Pliješ. The trail continues along mountain ridges to Sveta Gera (1,178 m), then descends through Sekulići and Jezernice back to Sošice. With three refreshment stations, checkpoint points, and HGSS safety support, this trail offers a true mountain running adventure.

The medium-length trail offers a new route showcasing the diversity of Žumberak. Starting in Sošice, runners pass Jazovka, the Sopot trail and waterfall, and ascend to Pliješ. After a series of descents and climbs through beech forest, the route reaches the picturesque village of Jezernice with one of the festival’s most scenic refreshment stations. The marked trail returns to Sošice, completing a circular route rich in natural contrasts and historical highlights. Two refreshment stations and checkpoints ensure safety with HGSS and medical support.

The short trail is perfect for runners seeking a fast and dynamic mountain experience in Žumberak. Starting in Sošice, the route passes Jazovka, the scenic Sopot trail, and ascends by the spectacular Sopot Waterfall to Pliješ summit. The descent runs via the Vodice mountain lodge back to Sošice. Ideal for beginners and experienced trail runners alike, with a checkpoint at Pliješ, a refreshment station at the finish, HGSS safety, and medical support.
