Griffon trail

The race starts in the center of the town of Cres and follows a gently undulating promenade along the sea, leading to the Stara Gavza area. From there, you will follow a rocky path to a 150-meter steep section that will take you to the valuable cultural-historical church of St. Salvator. Here, friendly volunteers will greet you with refreshments, a checkpoint, and a left turn. From Salvator, a divine singletrack will lead you to St. Blaise, where a long but fascinating climb begins, known among trail runners as "the penance." After the "penance," you will reach Sublaška Lokva, and the path continues along narrow trails to the timeless Predošćica, uphill, passing the archaeological site of Velo Gračište, and towards Napoleon’s Path. The path widens here, allowing you to speed through centuries-old olive groves bordered by dry stone walls, leading to the streets of Renaissance-era Cres. Due to the technical terrain, the trail is more suitable for determined runners, though also accessible to less ambitious participants, as the time limit to complete the Grande GTC is a relaxed 7 hours. The course has been registered and verified in the International Trail Running Association (ITRA) system.

From Salvator, the traditional path will guide you through centuries-old olive groves, intersecting narrow trails and bordered by dry stone walls, leading into the streets of Renaissance-era Cres. The course is circular. It is designed for both dynamic runners and casual recreationalists who are eager for a relaxing walk by the sea, along dry stone walls and olive groves, with breathtaking views that uplift the spirit. The time limit for completing the race is 4 hours.

A 500-meter route designed for the youngest participants, run along the seaside with the start at Frane Petrić Square.
