Grobnik Backyard Ultra
Grobnik Backyard Ultra is a endurance challenge following the global backyard format: every hour runners complete a 6.706 km loop, and the race continues until only one runner remains.
Sports and recreational club operates as a non-profit association without any sponsors. All our members volunteer entirely and participate with great enthusiasm in every adventure we create together. Our goal is to build unforgettable memories — yours and ours — without any material gain, but purely out of love for sport, nature, and community.
Our races are funded solely through the entry fees you pay, which enable us to plan and bring to life every detail of the event.

Backyard Ultra
Backyard Ultra is a unique ultramarathon format in which runners must complete a 6.706-meter (4.167-mile) loop every hour. Any time left after finishing the loop can be used for rest, but those who fail to complete the loop within the hour are automatically eliminated. The race continues as long as at least two runners remain — and the winner is the one who manages to finish the final loop as the last person standing.
This format was created by Gary “Lazarus Lake” Cantrell, the mastermind behind the infamous Barkley Marathons.
The course consists of 80% gravel and 20% asphalt. Each lap has an elevation gain of 55 meters.
Bib pickup from 14:00 to 15:30, briefing at 15:30, and start at 16:00.

2nd place running backpack of your choice
3rd place socks of your choice
