Limassol Marathon

Covering the distance of 42.195 KM, the OPAP Marathon Race starts from the Western End of the Molos Park in Limassol. With the gunshot, the Marathon Race Runners will head Eastwards and exit the Molos Park, turning left and taking a Western direction. Running towards the West parts of Limassol, our Runners will head towards the Old City of Limassol, and then towards the Limassol Port. Covering the Western Area of the City, the Runners will pass through mix scenery of urban and natural beauties, with a highlight the famous "forest tunnel". The runners will then head to East Again with a direction towards the Ancient Kingdom City of Amathus. The road to the Ancient City of Amathus is 100% Coastal, and the Runners will run along the city's most developed and hip area! Reaching the Ancient City of Amathus, and after running through a corridor of Ancient Ruins and Beautiful Mediterranean Scenery, the Runners will turn again towards the West and start their return to the Molos Park to the Finish Line!

It is fair to say that the OPAP Limassol Marathon Half Marathon Race is one of the most exciting 21KM in Europe. The race course is FLAT, FAST, and COASTAL setting the perfect setting for our Runners to reach and break their PBs! The Half Marathon Race will start at the Western End of Molos Park. With the gunshot, our Runners will head to the West, covering a distance of approximately 2KM and then turn to East with a destination of the ruins of the Ancient City Kingdom of Amathus! Once at the Amathus hotel, our runners will turn to the West again for the final stretch of the race towards Molos Park! Throughout their journey, the Half Marathon Runners will run along the waves and will encounter some of the most emblematic landmarks of the city!

The race starts at the Western End of Molos. After Molos exit the 10Km runners will head west for 2KM and after the first turning point they will head eastwards towards the city's vibrant tourist area! A FLAT, FAST and COASTAL Race, which is a favourite for beginners or for runners who just want to run and unwind the beautiful Mediterannean coastline!
