Many for the Rare

It’s not a competitive event – you can walk, run, or use a wheelchair. Children with disabilities are more than welcome – we invite them and cheer them all the way to the finish line!

Many children and adults in Croatia suffer from rare diseases, whose treatment is often inaccessible and requires expensive trips to other countries to try experimental drugs. The initiative "Kindness is Medicine" aims to change this! Besides increasing the availability of the latest treatments for rare diseases, we want to awaken a sense of empathy and solidarity towards those affected and their families, and inform the public about clinical trials for rare diseases.
