The third edition of the charity ultramarathon from Zagreb to Sisak is here!

The event is organized by actor Marko Cindrić. Last year, the run supported the Krijesnica Association and the Kolibrići Association, raising €42,500 through a humanitarian campaign. This year, we continue with the same mission — we run for those who cannot, for the most vulnerable members of our society. The race is a celebration of human ability and the strength of the human spirit.

About Krijesnica Association:
One of the main goals of this year’s Mosa Bavlju Ultramarathon is to raise funds for the Krijesnica Association, an organization that has been providing outstanding support for many years to children and families affected by malignant diseases. Krijesnica focuses on improving the quality of life of children with cancer and their families by offering psychological, social, and physical support. Through various activities, education, and therapies, they aim to reduce the stress that comes with fighting a serious illness. They also provide financial assistance to families in difficult situations, allowing them to focus on recovery and the well-being of their children.
Your support, whether through donations or raising awareness, represents invaluable help for children fighting for recovery and new beginnings.

About Kolibrići Association:
We are proud to support the Kolibrići Association, an organization that provides exceptional support to children and families facing the most difficult life challenges. Founded in 2011 by parents of critically ill children, the association works to improve basic living conditions and provide necessary support. It is a non-profit humanitarian organization with around seventy members. Its main activities include organizing charity events and raising funds for medical equipment, medications, and treatment costs.
Kolibrići are children with various serious medical conditions, many of whom cannot speak, move, or breathe independently and rely on life-support devices and constant parental care. Sadly, some have lost their battle, but their fight has not been in vain. Through the association, parents share experiences and support each other, creating a community of immense emotional strength. Their slogan, “I am a child too,” reminds us that these are children who deserve love, care, and a chance at a happy life.

What are we raising funds for?
This charity ultramarathon supports both associations.

Our goal is to raise €40,000 — €20,000 for each association.

Funds for the Krijesnica Association will be used for specialist examinations, oncogenetic testing, and targeted therapies for treating childhood cancers. (krijesnica.hr)
