Night race Japetić

Traditionally, every year on the last day of October, the Jastreb Extreme Sports and Recreation Association organizes the Night Ascent to Japetić. This unique event brings together a large number of athletes, recreational runners, and nature enthusiasts from Jastrebarsko. The start of both the race and the ascent is scheduled for 6:30 PM at the parking lot in front of the popular Šumski Dvor. First, the Night Race begins, followed immediately by the hiking ascent. The finish and destination for both disciplines is the Žitnica Mountain Lodge on Japetić.

The hiking ascent is non-competitive – each participant sets their own walking pace and enjoys the night climb.
