Mlinarica is known for its homely atmosphere. It offers daily homemade dishes, lunch specials, grilled meals, and homemade desserts, while weekends feature various roasts. Craft beer production started in 2016, offering guests top-quality craft beers of various flavors and aromas. Mlinarica is the main sponsor of the Zagreb Beer Mile, where Czech-style Lager and Vienna Lager will be consumed.

Craft beer originates from small, independent breweries that emphasize the quality of their products. This type of beer is usually produced in smaller quantities and from carefully selected ingredients. What defines craft beer is not only the type but also the origin - if it is produced by a craft brewery, regardless of whether it is a lager, ale, or something else, it is considered craft beer. At the beginning of its story, Mlinarica brewery introduced two top-quality craft lagers: Czech-style Lager and Black Widow. Although Zagreb already had several craft breweries, concepts such as craft breweries and craft beer were still unfamiliar to most people. Styles such as American Pale Ale (APA) and IPA were also rare. For those accustomed to industrial beers, the aroma and taste of craft beer were initially unusual, but they quickly recognized the difference in quality. At the same time, in September of the same year, Mlinarica introduced its third permanent beer, Vienna Lager, which was greeted with great enthusiasm. They have 5 craft beers in their regular offer, as well as a large selection of different seasonal beers.

CZECH STYLE LAGER
The perfect craft lager for any time of day and year. A golden beer with a mild herbal aroma and a pleasant, malty taste complemented by subtle hoppy aromas. The balance between malty taste and hop notes makes it extremely drinkable and refreshing. This beer pairs well with various dishes such as bean stew with sausage, various stews, turkey with mlinci (traditional pasta), fried chicken, fried oyster mushrooms, or homemade Debreciner sausages.

VIENNA LAGER
Craft beer for those who want to experience the true taste of malt. With four types of malt, this beer gets its amber color and intense malty aroma. A refreshing beer with rich flavors that linger in the mouth after each sip. Perfectly pairs with BBQ ribs, Mlinarica burger, Mlinarica sword, Vienna steak, beer sausages, cherry or plum strudel, as well as most spoon-eaten dishes.

BLACK WIDOW
A German classic with a twist! Through a light addition of roasted malt, this beer brings a gentle bitterness and a rich coffee aroma, infused with caramel notes. Full-bodied and layered flavors provide an unforgettable experience that will delight everyone. Pairs perfectly with strong flavors such as beefsteak, T-bone steak, tenderloin with cream from clotted cream, Zagreb steak, or traditional pumpkin pie.

AMERICAN PALE ALE (APA)
Our Pale Ale is exceptional because of its emphasis on rye malt, rarely used in our regions. Rye malt adds toasted bread aromas and mild spiciness, providing recognizability from the first sip. Other specialty malts contribute strong malt aromas and a deep copper color. This beer combines two varieties of American hops, providing delicate floral and citrus aromas that perfectly complement the rye malt. Medium body, moderate carbonation, pleasant bitterness, and sweetness create a perfect balance. Its distinctive taste pairs well with Mlinarica burger, Mlinarica skewers, BBQ wings, Mlinarica chicken, homemade Debreciner sausages, or cracklings.

BITTER KISS (IPA)
Don't miss Bitter Kiss! This nectar will refresh you in a phenomenal way, while its strength will stimulate your imagination and take you to tropical places.
